Januar Jahja and Partners (JJP) has once again been recognized as a Top Tier Indonesian IP firm by Legal 500 (Asia Pacific). The 2023 edition marks the seventh consecutive year that JJP has been included in the highest category of Indonesian IP firms by Legal 500. Three JJP attorneys were “Recommended”.
According to the firm write-up in the 2023 edition, JJP boasts an “impressive range of capabilities,” including trademark prosecution and litigation, as well as having a strong track record in patents. The Firm’s successful defense of smartphone manufacturer Guangdong OPPO against four patent infringement lawsuits brought by Nokia was noted in particular. Additionally, the 2023 edition of Legal 500 also highlighted JJP Foreign IP Consultant Andrew Diamond for his leadership of the patent team and Associate Eva Dewi Kartika, who handles both contentious and non-contentious trademark matters and is mentioned as “another key contact in the group.”
